Scouts Earth Tribe

Scouts Earth Tribe is a global initiative created by the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) to empower young people to become environmental leaders and active global citizens. The program, which replaced the World Scout Environment Badge, focuses on developing an understanding of environmental issues and taking action to create a better world.

Through a series of challenges, Scouts engage in hands-on activities related to sustainability. The three main pathways are the Tide Turners Plastic Challenge, the Champions for Nature Challenge, and the Scouts Go Solar Challenge. Each pathway encourages participants to learn about specific environmental problems, plan and carry out projects in their communities, and share their experiences to inspire others. By completing these challenges, Scouts earn recognition and join a global community dedicated to protecting our planet.
